The year 2008 was really a great year for all console lovers, as the evolution of the next generation consoles went over the top as big time players Sony Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii & Xbox 360 from Microsoft showed some promising games that children of all ages will love to play. Among the three, I personally love using Playstation 3 and I believe that Sony Playstation is the one that revolutionized the gaming industry by being the first one to make use of 3d technology and put them in to games. Coming on a strong second right now is the Nintendo Wii and its most unique game play of all the game consoles that came out to the market. It is currently the only one that is making use of a more personal approach to the controls with its sports games and of course, the ever so popular Guitar Hero game that took everyone, including Sony, by surprise. And then of course Xbox 360, the higher breed of Xbox that also had Sony Playstation a run for their money, but then again, failed to have its own face because of its high similarity to Playstation consoles. Hopefully, the year 2009 would become the year that these three console giants be able to give us more entertaining stuff.
