Eurovox EX 1100 is one of the most amazing things to come out for cable subscribers. It is basically created to keep away from all the clones out there that have ruined its predecessors. It has a lot of functionality that can easily get a cable TV enthusiast hooked on their television sets and make sure that you get the best television experience. Its features include a capability to play MPEG-2 Main Profile at main level for a more flexible viewing, a multi-language function for those who really love their nation’s languages, transparency and blending of the OSD, where 256 Palette colors are available so you won’t get distracted watching your show but also get the information easily at the same time.

It also has EPG for on screen channel information so you can easily know what you are watching, a digital tuner with loop-through out and of course its USB functionalities. You can easily get your programming preferences as well with its 3 operation modes and you can set up only your favorite channels appearing on your television. Watching cable television has never really been this easy and its all thanks to Eurovox and their technology to make things a lot easier for all of us.

There have been a lot of technological advancements that we have been getting almost every day. While all of them are fascinating, not every single one of them are actually compatible to all people. As far as I’m concerned, they can create all of the advancements that they can in technology, but what I am really happy about right now is the medical advancements that we have for diabetes nowadays. Testing for blood sugar has been made easier with the help of glucose monitoring meters and glucose test strip, which made it highly comfortable for diabetic people.

There are also insulin pumps now with the size of an Ipod and straps that can be placed in belts to give you an instant insulin injection whenever you need it. There is also some advancement in medications for diabetes where you don’t have to inject insulin and just get it via inhaling. One interesting news that I have heard was the artificial pancreas. This artificial pancreas would consist of a monitor that gives a concrete readout of the blood sugar level directly to an insulin pump. Once this invention is completed, it would basically mean the complete cure of diabetes as we know it.

Just a couple of minutes ago, I was checking out something that you would barely see in a camp forum, and the title of the piece couldn’t be any accurate. The title is the Top 10 Strangest Camping Gadgets and even though they are strange, I could see them working for me out in the wilderness. The first one on the list was the 9Vo(l)tive (or at least I think that’s how it should be read) where it is actually a battery with a light bulb attached to it and works like a candle in the dark. Next is the Stay-Cold Polar Pitcher, where they have glasses and pitchers that has separate compartments for ice to make sure that it doesn’t melt quickly. Third is the Thanko’s Camera Binoculars, which explains itself with its name, a Catchu Camera Frisbee which is a Frisbee with camera, Tote-A-Keg for beer drinkers, Slice-O-Rama - Vegetable Table Saw where there is basically a knife attached to a chopping board, my favorite Two Second Self-Pitching Tent (I have one like this) where you just throw the thing in the air and watch it become a tent in two seconds, the REGEN - The Yo-Yo MP3 Player which is basically a singing yo-yo, a Travelpod that is actually for rent if you feel like a tent doesn’t suit you, and finally the strangest is the Ultimate Swiss Army Knife that basically has over 80 tools to use.

Adt alarm systems have become a reliable name when it comes to making sure of the safety of the people from bad elements. I remember when I had an experience one time when I was just buying something inside the convenience store that I frequently visit. There were two armed men that decided to take over the store and take all the money from the cash registry. All of us were told to be on the ground or they will shoot us, while the cashier personnel (also the owner of the store) were unloading his cash registry. Little that they know that the adt alarm was installed under the cash registry and the store was able to push it unnoticed. After a few minutes of stalling, the cops began to enter the scene. I was really surprised because I didn’t hear any alarms going off, which basically had the criminals by surprise. After that incident, I decided to have adt security installed in my house as well for added protection. I just want to make sure that my family will always be safe inside the house, especially after experiencing having a gun pointed on my head and told to be on the ground.

I was looking at some tech news and I stumbled upon a certain news regarding the Cowon S9 4GB, which is what one of my friends is using right now. I checked on the pros and cons of the product and it says there that Cowon’s S9 portable media player offers a gorgeous OLED touch-screen display, long battery life, and features such as Bluetooth audio, voice recording, FM radio, Flash media support, audio and video playback, a photo viewer, and a text reader, making it one of the most complete model of its kind. Although, the downside of this product is that the Cowon S9’s user interface isn’t quite as polished as the competition, the plastic construction feels flimsy, and it lacks Wi-Fi, memory expansion, and a standard USB port. The bottom line here though is that this model is a sexy-looking gadget with exceptional audio and video quality, but its construction quality and user interface pale in comparison to the competition. Now that I saw the facts, I felt not getting this product anymore because I am an internet person and I need to always have my connection everywhere I go. With its lack of Wi-Fi connectivity, it just goes to show that it can never really satisfy my needs.

I was checking out some news and updates about the Top Gadgets of 2009 and I am really with the stuff that I was able to find. First off is the Sony Cybershot… The Sony T700, which costs around $599 is about as cool as it gets. It shows off a 3.5 inch touch-screen, a built-in flash, memory stick slot and the capacity to adjust lighting settings automatically. But the device also comes with 4GB of internal storage, as the camera is also designed to be a portable photo album. Next is the iMac and its modernity. The iMac has gone through four diverse upgrades to the version existing at present. While the original replica saw a bubble-shaped design, the computer’s components are now hidden inside an LCD monitor, reducing the quantity of desktop space needed for storage. Placed on a metal base with the silhouette Apple logo on a silver backdrop, the device is sleek, stylish and since being upgraded with top-of-the-line components, extremely fast. And lastly, since I’m using ASUS Eee PC, I really loved the news that I got about a new line of laptop that they have. One of the most innovative devices is the Eee Keyboard PC which will be featured at CES 09. The CEO of Asus, Jerry Shen, has also apparently announced a touch screen Eee PC laptop early 2009 capable of running Windows 7 (below). However something that is more promising is the Eee Top All-in-one touch screen desktop which should be available this year and I really think that this will definitely make it big next year. Currently launched in white only with 1.6GHz Intel Atom, 1GB RAM, 160GB hard drive, 15.6? screen, Window XP, 1.3 megapixel camera, Wi-fi, built in speakers and enough ports to make sure that every single user will be happy to have.
